18th Asian Television Awards – Call for Entries Now Open
Singapore, March 13, 2013 – Television Asia Plus magazine, organiser of the Asian Television Awards (ATA) announces the launch of the 18th Asian Television Awards, an initiative aimed at honouring the best in Asia Pacific’s programming, production and performance.
Last year's event saw more than 1,300 entries from 14 countries in the Asia-Pacific vying for awards across 38 categories. The event is ranked as one of the most widely participated television competition in this region.
"The prestige of the Awards relies on the high-calibre juries that are convened each year to review submissions," said Raymond Wong, CEO, Contineo Media and Chairman of the ATA. "Since 1996, this prestigious Awards programme has given creative talents, both in front of and behind the camera, the opportunity to have their work judged by media professionals. The ATA continues to be the most coveted peer-recognised Awards in the industry."
Only programmes that have been broadcast or cablecast for the first time in the Asia Pacific region during the period from June 1, 2012 through May 31, 2013 are eligible for submission.
