Superpitch 2011 Rules & Regulations
Eligibility
SUPERPITCH is open to all companies and production houses whose primary base is in any Asia Pacific country, including: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea, Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, People’s Republic of China, the Philippines, Singapore, Republic of Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand.
All entries must be based on original content wholly developed by the contesting company. Such content should be deemed appropriate for broadcasting over electronic visual media platforms.
All entries must not have been commissioned for production prior to and during the contest period.
Submissions
All submissions must be entered using official entry form and signed by one of the following: company president, CEO or managing director and must include a company stamp.
All submitted original materials must be copyrighted, with rights owned by the submitting party. All non original copyrighted materials (i.e. music, songs footage) must have received official clearance for their respective reproduction or use prior to submission.
The organisers of SUPERPITCH does not undertake the legal responsibility including (but not limited) the right of portrait, reputation, privacy, copyright, trademark and producing dispute and so on.
All entries and supporting materials must be received by Monday, 31 October 2011.
Submissions received after the closing date will only be accepted at the discretion of the organiser.
All materials and relevant information submitted for the contest are deemed appropriate for use by the organisers for the purpose of advertising, publicising and promoting the event in any medium. No further consent shall be necessary.
Entry Requirements
Contestants are to send in the concept for their new content, which can be in any of the following genres: Documentary, Children, Preschool and Formats, complete with supporting materials.
Contestants are required to submit the following materials:
- Completed entry form
- Proposed production budget (indicate sources of funding, if any)
- Production schedule (estimate number of days required for pre-production, production, post production)
- Any supporting materials; including but not limited to word documents, PowerPoint slides, flash presentations, video clips, animatics, pre-visualisation, trailers, character sketches, storyboards, scripts, paintings, photos, illustrations etc.
Judging
A list of finalists will be posted on superpitch.asiantvawards.com on 11 November, 2011. Finalists will be notified by email.
Finalists must be prepared to pitch their projects in person at the event on Thursday, 8 December 2011 at Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore. The language medium for the pitches shall be English.
The shortlisted pitchers are to arrange their own travel and accommodation to and in Singapore. The organisers will not be bearing any such travel and accommodation costs, and shall not be responsible for any associated claims and refunds.
The organisers reserve all rights to make any changes to the rules and regulations whenever is deemed necessary.
The judges’ decision will be final. Neither the organisers nor the judges will enter into any discussion or correspondence regarding the outcome of any decision.
